    Espresso/Ristretto

    1 7 – 12 g coffee ground
    2 20 – 35 ml brewing water

Espresso is one of the most famous coffee drinks. He's the little sip of Italy. Because espresso simply has more: more aroma, more taste, more substance.

Espresso is brewed with high pressure. The result is a short strong beverage with the characteristic compact, hazelnut "Crema", a quality feature of a good espresso.

With a ristretto, the amount of water used is approx 20 ml and often less, with the same amount of coffee ground. An espresso is typically served with a glass of water.

    Espresso Macchiato

    2 25 – 35 ml brewing water
    3 some milk foam

Served with a sweet biscuit, the speciality coffee can be enjoyed at any time of the day. The basis of any cappuccino is an espresso and plenty of fresh milk foam.

It is a popular alternative to espresso and has long since found its way into all coffee bars around the world. It received its name, which translates as "smaller Capuchin" from the hood, the "cappuccio" of the habit of the order of the Capuchin monks.

    3 7 – 12 g coffee ground
    4 60 – 90 ml milk foam

Originally a child's drink in Italy, the "speckled milk" is served at drinking temperature. A latte macchiato consists of a layer of hot milk and milk foam between which an espresso "lays" after a brief period. Thus the three characteristic layers are created.

    2 140 – 160 ml brewing water
